SLU-PP-332 is a small-molecule pan-agonist of estrogen-related receptors that stimulates the production of new mitochondria, increases ATP synthesis, and is an “exercise mimetic”- a substance that activates certain chemical processes in the body that mimic the effects of intense aerobic activity on a cellular lever without physical activity.
Benefits
- Boosts energy
- Increases energy expenditure
- Promotes efficient fat oxidation
- Improved VO2 max
- Ideal for abdominal fat reduction
- Enhanced capillary density in muscle
- Shift toward oxidative muscle fibers
- Increases fatty acid metabolism
- Reduces fat
- Improves endurance and stamina
- Enhances glucose uptake and insulin sensitivity, which can help regulate blood sugar and help to combat insulin resistance
- Preserves lean muscle mass
- Supports muscle function and faster recovery
- Higher mitochondrial content
- Reversal of hepatic steatosis
- Reduced inflammation in liver and adipose tissue
- Improves cardiovascular health by enhancing oxygen utilization and fat oxidation
- Prevents blocked arteries caused by a buildup of cholesterol
- Upregulates mitophagy (the removal of damaged mitochondria)
- Good for post-infarction metabolic support
- Suppresses age-associated inflammatory markers (including IL-6, TNF-a, CRP)
- Supports autophagy, mitophagy, and fibrosis attenuation in organs like the liver, heart, and kidney
- Helps with metabolic dysfunction-related hormonal imbalances
Possible Side Effects
- Restlessness
- Heat intolerance
- Insomnia
- Gastrointestinal upset
- Increase in heart rate and blood pressure
Interactions
- Use caution when using SLU-PP-332 and stimulants or thermogenics (e.g. methamphetamine, cocaine, high caffeine, ephedrine, yohimbine): may cause an additive heart rate/blood pressure strain
- Use caution when using thyroid medications (e.g. levothyroxine, liothyronine), as it may effect the efficacy of the medications and necessitate a dose change or have additive effects on mitochondrial programs
- Use caution when using diabetic drugs (insulin, sulfonylureas): if combined with potent weight loss agents, watch for hypoglycemia as insulin sensitivity improves
Contraindications
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Do not use if you have or suspect you may have a hormone-sensitive cancer (breast, prostate, thyroid) or active neoplasia
- Do not use if you have uncontrolled cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, or uncontrolled hyperthyroidism
- Do not use if you have severe liver or kidney impairment
